EVIL EYE ARTISTS, WHERE TWELVE UP AND COMING ARTISTS OF VARIOUS ALTERNATIVE MUSIC SCENES PERFORM SETS OF THEIR ORIGINAL MUSIC.

When is Tough Luck 2024?

Tough Luck Fest 2024 will be held on Friday, September 6th and Saturday, September 7th.
What will happen at Tough Luck?

Tough Luck Fest is a 2 day music showcase held at Brighton Music Hall in Allston, Massachusetts. Each day is built around an alternative music genre. Day one will consist of 6 artists/bands in the alternative rock, emo and pop-punk sub-genres. Day two will consist of 6 artists/bands in the metal, hardcore and death-core sub-genres. Bands will perform sets consisting of their original music and showcasing their own unique sounds. We expect high energy crowds, energetic performances and exciting nights all around. There will be various sponsors based around the music scenes Tough Luck represents. This year's festival is brought to you by artist management collective 'EVIL EYE ARTISTS', powered by merchandise and screen printing company 'TOGETHER PRESS', and head sponsored by 'EXTREME VOCAL INSTITUTE'.
Why does Tough Luck Matter?

Tough Luck Fest was created on the principal/belief that Bostons alternative music scene kicks ass and is stronger than ever. We believe that up and coming artists in the alternative rock, emo, pop-punk, hardcore and death-core scenes are part of a strong enough community to showcase that they are able to pack out bigger music venues. Our mission is to have these artists/bands come together and put on a show that displays the local scene to its fullest extent. Sometimes all you need is a little Tough Luck to find your way.
Can I apply to play Tough Luck 2024?

Due to this year's debut lineup already being fully confirmed, we unfortunately are not accepting any additional artists for this year's Tough Luck Fest.
Can I sponsor Tough Luck Fest?

Will Tough Luck have food and drink?

With this year's show being held at Brighton Music Hall, there are bars located at both the left and right sides of the bar. For food there are various numerous restaurants located all around the Allston/Brighton area. Our personal favorite is Underdog Chicken located right next door!
Is there parking near the area?

Brighton Music Hall does not have a specific parking lot. Please use street parking and garages when driving to the show. We recommend taking public transit. The Park Boston app is typically what is used for street parking.
